I just wanted to take a minute to give you some customer feedback on your Frisco Service Department.I brought my 2007 CR-V in today, 6/2/2010. I was met by a very personable service guy. I believe his name was Kelvin.  Anyway, he wrote up my job order and I had a competitor's oil change coupon, and he said that they would honor it, which was nice. I was told what all was going to be done to my CR-V, and I was agreeable. Your mechanics balanced my tires after asking me about it, which they needed it. The tires were vibrating on the highway.
To be brief, I am very, very impressed with your service department. I have been in many service departments in my life, and yours is the best. The place still looks new, the service department was spotless, and the advisors are all very helpful and courteous. My wait time, I think, was comparable to the work to be done. Please let everyone know that I really appreciated the good work and the quickness of it. My wife, Carol and I have been loyal customers for three Honda cars, and I plan to continue to purchase and deal with McDavid Honda for some time to come. Subject: An incredible, impressive experience with your dealership
My wife and I purchased our 2010 Honda Pilot from your dealership on Tuesday, February 9, and I wanted to let you know how extremely impressed we were with the superior level of service and attention we received, as well as the quality and pride we noticed from the associates we met during our experience.
To give you some idea where we are coming from, our entire family are loyal Honda owners.  Grandparents, parents, and my wife and I will only drive Honda vehicles, so what we drive isn't as important as where we buy it from.  In just my own personal experience I have purchase Hondas from both John Eagle Honda and Honda Cars of McKinney, and now David McDavid Honda of Frisco.  However, this is the very first time I've ever written a letter of thanks and appreciation to any Honda dealership.
Our "salesman," Mark Ladd, was more than just a salesman, he was a true and genuine friend.  From the moment he called me after submitting a price quote request on your website to when we drove away in our new Honda the very next day, he really treated us with the utmost respect and courtesy.  I've never considered the car-buying experience to be very enjoyable, even when buying a Honda, but I can honestly say this was truly a pleasant process.  Mark understood our needs for a new car, carefully explained the benefits of a Pilot, and guided us through the buying process with a unique and refreshing candor completely unmatched by any other salesman we've ever encountered.
Mark's quality of service was not our only experience that was memorable, to our surprise.
The Delivery Coordinator, Brian Billingsley, was a surprise altogether.  I've never experienced having someone show me in precise detail all of the benefits and features of my new Honda purchase.  I'm not talking about the obvious features of how the Pilot's 3rd and 2nd rows lay completely flat to maximize cargo capacity. I'm talking about the impressive, little known but important features that other car buyers at other dealerships would go months and maybe years never knowing exactly what their Honda was fully capable of.  As Brian proceeded to explain the safety features, the comfort features, the efficiency features, and so on, I began to believe we were really getting an incredible deal on our new Honda.  Driving off the lot, I felt as if I knew exactly everything there was to know about the Pilot.  Sure, all vehicles come with 200-300 pages of instruction manuals, but to have a personal tour carefully explaining every inch of the vehicle, I quickly realized incredible value in my purchase as well as in the personal touch Brian gives every customer that he meets and who drives off with a new Honda from your dealership.
There was one more memorable experience, one with the representative from the finance department, but to be honest, he was so good at his job, so efficient, so expedient, that in the 10 minutes it took him to complete our paperwork and "seal the deal," I completely forgot his name!  I'd like to think it was your dealership's fault for having so many incredible associates that at any other dealership, just one of these people would stand out in a crowd.  But when your entire dealership is filled with caring, devoted, proud, attentive and efficient people, the unfortunate reality is a customer can really be disoriented from a level of service that is absolutely extinct in this day and age. Thank you again, Mark, Brian, and all of the employees of David McDavid Honda of Frisco.

I wanted to take a minute to explain how pleased I am with the buying experience I had yesterday evening at the McDavid Honda of Frisco location.  I began with an internet query to look for a specific vehicle in the North Dallas area.  I found a great match at the location above and emailed for more information.  Keith Burr responded very quckly and provided the information I needed.  He also answered several more questions I had and invited me to meet him to see the vehicle.  This was a Saturday and it was snowing pretty heavily for Texas outside but Keith didn't mind walking me around the car lot and showing me the features of the vehicle.  We talked for hours even after closing time so he could make sure all my questions were answered.  I had his full attention for a few hours.  I came to the easy decision to purchase that very night and Keith made the paperwork quick and painless.  I drove away very satisfied and am still very satisfied with my decision and the way I was treated by Keith.

Excellent does not begin to describe it. Ok…maybe it begins to describe it, but it doesn’t quite do the service department justice. Matt Kail took excellent care of me. Letting me know what to expect, how quickly it could be done an how long it might take. (In this case, we were working with a 3rd party extended warranty through Car Max, so David McDavid did not have full control over the time line.) He was always friendly and very helpful and informative, and did just a superb job of setting expectations…never over-promising how quickly the process would run. Furthermore, because the process did take longer that either of us would have liked, David McDavid stepped in and supplemented the difference in the car rental between what the extended warranty covered and the actual cost. And did so without bragging about it…which is pretty impressive. That alone saved me a good deal of money and probably frustration. Matt made it easy for me to deal with David McDavid. And when Matt wasn’t in, I could always find somebody who could look up what you guys were doing for me and try to help me out. No; "That ain’t my customer, man!” Definitely a team effort. And to the folks who I never saw…the ones who did the actual work on the vehicle, kudos should go out to them as well.  The van drives smoother, and I know it has to be safer. I am sure they get busted anytime something is less than perfect. Well, I will tell you, I have no complaints. And the car wash before I got it back was just icing on top of the cake. (I know, that’s not exclusive to David McDavid, but it is still a nice touch.)I broke a tire. (It’s a “run flat” tire…broke seems appropriate.) Brought it in. Got it fixed/replaced, and in the process, your techs noticed the shot transmission, blown catalytic converter and that three of four engine mounts were broken. I got to admit, if I hadn’t had the extended warranty, emotionally, I would have been going, “could you not have found anything else wrong with it!” (You know how that goes. Bring it in for one thing and they find five grand of additional repairs that need to be done. Not an easy pill to swallow.) The warranty made the pain of the expense a lot easier to deal with. And Matt had good things to say about the warranty, which made me feel better. But warranty or not, you guys did excellent work. Your team did a great job. And I am very satisfied with the work done and the way I was treated. How satisfied, you might ask. Satisfied enough that I wouldn’t hesitate to bring the vehicle back in for something other than the tires. (On the tires, I don’t have a lot of choices…you are one of the few folks that work with the “run flat” tires. So bringing to you for the tires is not really a testament to how you treat your customers. Though it is a testament to the services you offer. Please extend my gratitude to Matt, who was the face of David McDavid for most of this transaction, and the rest of the team that helps separate David McDavid from the competition.

I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how wonderfully I was treated at David McDavid Honda in Frisco this past weekend. Rusty Hill and Sam Saidzadeh were simply awesome to deal with and I wouldn’t be the proud owner of a gorgeous 2010 Civic EX-L Coupe without them!  From start to finish, Rusty and Sam were super friendly and very down to earth.  I couldn’t have asked for two better people to help me through this process.  I absolutely didn’t want a young, pushy salesman and as soon as I heard Rusty’s voice on the phone I knew he was someone I wanted to do business with.  He is such a honest and great guy to deal with, it was easy to believe that he wanted me to have the car I wanted as much as I did.  Once I got the price I wanted on my trade-in Accord and the new Civic – and get those prices I did!! – I then went to the scariest part of the whole deal: The Finance Office.  Luckily, Sam was fantastic to deal with and my luck went from good to great when I was approved for the awesome interest rate I wanted.  I was so excited, I double high-fived Sam and practically skipped out of his office, almost having forgot I just signed my life away.
I really cannot express enough how much of an impression Rusty and Sam made on me.  As this is my third new car purchase, I can say without a doubt I wish it had always been this easy.  These two gentlemen know how to treat a customer, and even better, they know to treat a young, woman buyer with the same courtesy, respect and intelligence as you would any other customer… maybe even more so!!
I will refer everyone I can to those guys, as you really have a couple of wonderful people on your hands.

He (and DMD Honda) did such a great job on servicing our car that my husband said, "Next time I buy a car, I am going there.
What did he do?

Lots of communication, including introducing me to the master mechanic who would do the work (timing belt, etc) on my car.

Did everything he could to make the price reasonable--and then the invoice was the price he quoted.

Got me a rental car for a day.  (My husband was stranded at the airport, so then I could go bring him his keys.)

Finally--went to Enterprise this morning to retrieve the garage door opener I left in the rental car.

It was great to meet you and others on staff when I was in the dealership on Friday, May7th. I didn’t think I would be leaving with a new car, as I came in merely to investigate my options when moving from a lease situation to a purchase.  I have been leasing since 1998 when I got my first Honda. Due to life circumstances and the Obama administration, I have been concerned about getting a car paid for before I have to retire and can’t afford a car payment. Now I just have to live long enough to get my 5th Honda paid for!Keith proved to be a great salesman to work with.  He was patient, informative and determined I was going to have a car before the evening was over. From a salesmanship standpoint I think he did all the right things.  From a consumer standpoint he allowed me to speak my mind, express my requirements and reach my comfort level.  There were a few points I didn’t understand and he patiently explained them to me more than once.  I can recommend Keith without hesitation to any potential car buyer I encounter. Joshua Gabbai is a very personable young man.  Although I didn’t purchase any after market items he made a good professional attempt and explained various adds, their benefits and costs.  There are definitely items I would like to have and cost was the only deterrent. I didn’t get the name of the young lady in finance. She is very efficient and streamlines this part of the buying experience. She offered the gap insurance and the extended warranty and explained both. At this point I was not happy as I learned the payment was not exactly what I was told it would be. The difference was not much, but for me, it was the principal of the matter. At the point she understood that I really was NOT happy, she did what was necessary to adjust the payment to the amount I had agreed to. The individuals who assisted me were knowledgeable and professional. Aside from the normal angst of working out a car deal, I have to say my experience was a good one. I will be pleased to refer anyone I know who is in the market for a new vehicle. I look forward to a call and making the appointment to get my new car all dressed up with the tint, pin stripe, mud guards and visor for the sunroof.

I wanted to take a moment and share with you how satisfied my wife and I were with our recent purchasing experience at David McDavid Honda dealer in Frisco. Living in Coppell we have a dealer in Lewisville that services our 1999 Accord  (son’s car). We’ve always liked their service department, but was not impressed with the sales staff or inventory when we started our recent replacement purchase . We saw your dealership on our way to IKEA and thought we’d stop in.  I met Ms. Candy Grantham who showed us the CRV-EXL. The color I wanted was located and arrived a day or two later. I stopped by with my wife that evening and was pleasantly  surprised to consummate the transaction then and there. Ms. Candy introduced me to Brian Billingsley  who sat us down and began to explain the Navigation, Bluetooth and Voice Controls systems.   I was a little overwhelmed by all of the information but Brian reassured me that I could call him anytime with questions. I’ve taken him up on that offer already. After Brian, Ms. Candy took us to finance where we met Ms. Olsen.  She patently explained the programs that were available to us. Since this is our third Honda and one we plan on keeping we wanted some level of balancing out unknown risk over time.  We took several programs that were offered and received a very competitive financing rate. As with Brian I did have a few question the next day so I called and left a message. Ms. Olsen promptly returned my call and cheerfully answered all of my questions.

Thank you for a great event last night! I learned a lot and appreciate the great service attitude at McDavid Frisco. I also wanted to let you know about my experience with your staff. First of all Rev Brian. Wow, it is simply amazing to see how much he knows about the vehicles and his willingness to demonstrate all the features of my Pilot Touring. I'm not a super tech person so he spent well over an hour with me. What a great resource he is to new owners like me! I also want to commend our salesman, Jeff. My husband was involved in all the negotiation process and I just came to pick up the car. He is so friendly and helpful. When I came back for my appt with Rev. Brian there were a few little things that needed replacing (that we didn't notice at 11pm) and Jeff was quick to fix everything. Also, yesterday when I was there for the dinner he immediately came over to say hi and put my license plates on for me while I went inside.
